Get your cardiac test results faster than ever! Starting August 27, 2018, LifeLabs cardiac test results including, Electrocardiograms (ECG) and Holter monitors will be delivered online via my ehealth (BC), the same electronic portal used to deliver patient blood test results.
Prior to August 27, 2018, all cardiac test results were printed and couriered or mailed to our ordering and copy-to physicians. Starting August 27, 2018, those using Launchpad or an EMR will receive both printed and electronic reports until mid-September.
By mid-September, 2018, if you are using Launchpad or an EMR you will stop receiving a printed report. If you are not using Launchpad or an EMR, electronic reports will not be available to you, and you will continue to receive printed reports.

Frequently Asked Questions
Advice for Physicians:
Q1: What if I don’t currently use Launchpad to access patient results?
A1: If you are a healthcare provider based in British Columbia, we encourage you to register for Launchpad. Once registered, providers can access data through the web portal, allowing for easily interpreted diagnostic results from all sources in one consistent interface. This will allow providers to make important decisions quickly with real-time access to patient diagnostic data. Physicians may also access cardiac test results through an integrated EMR that can support eWave PDF content.
To register for Launchpad, email support@excelleris.com or call Excelleris support at 1-866-728-4777.
For those physicians not on Excelleris delivery, there is no change and you will still receive hard copy reports. If you are not using Launchpad or an integrated EMR, electronic reports will not be available to you, and you will continue to receive printed reports.
Q2: Will cardiac test results continue to be delivered via courier and mail?
A2: For those physicians who are currently on electronic delivery via Excelleris, they will receive Cardiology hard copy reports in parallel for the first two weeks, after which the hard copy reports will no longer be provided. For those physicians not on electronic delivery, there is no change.
Q3: What if I would like to continue to receive cardiac test via a couriered or mailed paper copy? Is that an option?
A3: No, in many cases it is not an option to receive hard copy if you are already receiving Excelleris electronic delivery.

Q5: I’m an ordering physician (or copied healthcare provider). What do I need to know?

Ordering doctors and copy to providers will also be able to access cardiac test results including Electrocardiograms (ECG), and Holter monitors when they are away from their physical office through an online portal (Launchpad).
By offering cardiac test results online via our electronic portal, Launchpad, LifeLabs is able to deliver even faster results and offer better tracking of results delivery. Reports will be sent to each ordering doctor more promptly than by hard copy delivery.
