LIPOPROTEIN (a) [Lp(a)] REAGENT SHORTAGE
On Oct 24, LifeLabs announced that we are experiencing a shortage of Lipoprotein (a) (Lp(a)) reagent due to vendor supply issues and an international increase in demand for Lp(a). Collections were temporarily paused.
As of November 24, 2025, LifeLabs is resuming collections for Lipoprotein (a) (Lp(a)) (a). Please note that there may be a reporting delay as we work through our backlog and resume normal operations.
