As Chief Market & Partnerships Officer, Erica leads LifeLabs’ partnerships within both private sectors and the public Canadian healthcare system, aligning government, business, and consumers accessing the healthcare system to deliver sustainable volume, sysstem trust, and growth. Erica is accountable for all external market engagement, partnerships, marketing and brand stewardship, and market governance. Erica’s role represents LifeLabs’ commitment to showing up as one coordinated, national partner—supporting governments, health system leaders, providers, industry partners, and the patients and communities we serve.
An experienced and transformative leader within the organization, Erica previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Government Markets. In this capacity, she led LifeLabs’ core business: renewing and building relationships with government partners and expanding community lab access, and oversaw strategy and enablement of corporate affairs functions, including corporate communications and community engagement. Erica initially joined LifeLabs as Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer and Corporate Secretary, where she was responsible for the management of all legal, privacy, risk and corporate governance matters on behalf of the organization.
Erica is a Loran Scholar and holds an HBSc from the University of Toronto (Trinity College), a JD from Queen’s University, and an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School. She is passionate about volunteering and sits on multiple not-for-profit boards and initiatives.
