Dr. Jung received her PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Alberta and completed Clinical Chemistry fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She will be overseeing high volume biochemistry, immunoassays, and special chemistry assays. She is interested in the evaluation and utilization of novel laboratory tests to drive quality improvement and efficiency in patient care. Dr. Jung has published numerous scientific papers in peer reviewed journals.
She is based at LifeLabs Victoria Reference Lab (VRL-Vancouver Island).
