On August 8th, 2017, LifeLabs Medical Laboratories has started detection of parasites in stool samples by using the latest PCR technology.
PCR will be our first line test for suspected parasitic diarrhea. It will offer a faster turnaround time (1-2 days)
for reporting our results. For PCR, please submit one sample collected in the Copan Fecal swab.
