Toronto, ON (October, 2018) – LifeLabs, Canada’s largest medical laboratory, today announced a new partnership with League, a leading digital employee health benefits platform, adding LifeLabs tests and services to the League member marketplace, giving members more access.
“We are excited to be partnering with League, a company who is thinking outside of the box when it comes to health and wellness offerings for their members,” says Lawrence Mahan, Vice President Commercial and eHealth / Business Development, at LifeLabs. “With our tests and services on the menu, League members have easy access to a variety of tests that will inform and improve their health and wellness journey in a convenient way.”
Through this partnership, League members have access to LifeLabs patient-pay tests and services that will help them take control over their health. This includes LifeLabs Genetics personalized medication DNA test, TreatGxPlus, which helps patients ensure their pharmaceutical prescriptions will work effectively for them, the Panorama Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing, which helps expecting parents plan for their family’s future, and the MyVisit service which allows patients to have sample collections in the comfort of their own home, to name a few. League Members have the independence to select and pay online or on the League app using their flexible health spending and benefits plans, testing kits are sent directly to patients, and required samples can be collected at any LifeLabs location, where they are then performed at a LifeLabs accredited laboratory.
“League is dedicated to providing customizable, personalized health offerings,” says Swati Matta, Director of Health at League. “Our partnership with LifeLabs is another step towards breaking down the ‘one-size-fits-none’ offerings of yesteryears, providing our members with the ability to select the tests and services most relevant to their unique situation. This allows our members to maximize their health benefits by providing the tools, information, and flexibility needed to live healthier lives.”
