LifeLabs is pleased to announce that as of July 3rd, 2018, the QuantiFERON TB Gold (QFT-G) test will be available at select Patient Services Centres (PSC) across Ontario.
QFT-G is a whole-blood test for use as an aid in diagnosing Mycobacterium tuberculosis infections, including latent tuberculosis infections (LTBI) and tuberculosis (TB) disease. This test is a modern alternative to outdated testing methodologies, such as the tuberculin skin test.
QFT-G is only available at the PSCs listed below and will be offered Mondays to Thursdays; while we encourage patients to make an appointment online at www.lifelabs.com, walk-ins will be accepted.
