New Faces of LifeLabs campaign proudly highlights employees during the week
Toronto, ON – April 23, 2018 – LifeLabs, Canada’s largest medical laboratory, kicks off celebrations across Canada today for National Medical Laboratory Week (NMLW), a time dedicated to raising awareness and celebrating the critical role medical laboratories play in Canada’s health care system.
LifeLabs will kick off the week by proudly celebrating the employees committed to supporting more than 19 million patient visits each year across Canada. Throughout the week of April 23 – 27 through the Faces of LifeLabs campaign, LifeLabs will be sharing employee stories in a social media campaign that celebrates and highlights the diverse and talented team of 5,700 employees.
“National Med Lab Week is about supporting the important role that our employees play in delivering high quality, patient-centered care every day,” says Pierre Bou-Mansour, Chief Operating Officer. “Whether they are in our patient service centres drawing blood, managing and processing specimens, on the road collecting specimens, or in our labs processing your results, our employees are dedicated to helping Canadian’s stay healthy through reliable diagnostics services.”
LifeLabs employees serve 50,000 patient visits daily and deliver over 110 million laboratory tests a year. In addition to being the first community lab to conduct non-invasive prenatal testing in Canada, LifeLabs is the first lab to provide online appointment booking for patients and online access to lab results for patients. The Faces of LifeLabs campaign will highlight the many important roles on the front lines and behind the scenes that play a key role in delivering patient results accurately and quickly.
