Drop off your sample or schedule a pick-up​

After sample collection, you will need to schedule a pick-up or arrange for a sample drop off.​
To obtain your results faster, we recommend dropping off sample

How do I drop off my Kit?​

If you drop off your sample at a participating location listed below, your sample will be processed at our lab and results will be provided to you within 72 hours of the sample being dropped off.

Please note: Only Shoppers Drug Mart locations, LifeLabs patient service centers and FedEx drop box locations listed on this page are part of the sample drop off program.
All customers are required to wear a mask or a face covering upon arrival at the location for a sample drop off.

Once you have collected your sample, you will need to schedule a pick up or arrange for a sample drop off.

Enter your postal code below to check if you are within the FedEx serviceable area.

Based on the postal code entered, you qualify for a FedEx pick-up. See below the instructions on how to schedule a Fedex pick-up.
Based on the postal code entered, you do not qualify for a FedEx pick-up. See below the instructions on how arrange for a sample drop off at any ONE of the participating locations.
Note: If you do not qualify for a FedEx pick up or if you collected your sample after 10 am on a Friday, please arrange to drop off your sample at a participating location listed below. This will ensure your sample is processed at our lab and results are provided to you within 72 hours of the sample being dropped off.

FedEx pick-up

Immediately after packaging your sample, call FedEx to arrange for your pre-paid pick-up. Your sample should be picked up the same day or within the next day your sample is collected. The label included has a default pick-up for Vancouver International Airport with a ship-to address of Surrey, BC. Ensure you provide your pick-up address instead.​

Your home collection kit can be dropped off at select drop box locations only. Please DO NOT drop off your kit at any FedEx (FASC) locations. Please remember to keep track of your FedEx confirmation number to track your kit. You will receive results within a maximum of 72 hours of the sample being picked up by FedEx.​

For complete shipping instructions, please follow the steps below:

Please call FedEx at 1-800-463-3339 between 08:30 to 19:00 EST Monday to Friday to schedule a pick up for the next day.

Please be sure to provide FedEx with your current pick-up address.

If calling in, please listen to the options, or follow the steps below:

  1. State your preferred language, or press the corresponding number
  2. Say “Schedule a Pick-Up” or press the number “1”
  3. Say “Schedule a Pick-Up using a Label”
  4. Enter or verbally state the tracking number on your package, which is found above the barcode on your shipping sticker (and noted in yellow below).
  5. The agent will repeat your pickup details and ask you to verify them. If the details are incorrect, please say “Not correct” and provide them with your current pick-up address. After you’ve verified that your pickup details are correct, you will be provided with a confirmation number.
  6. Request for a same-day pick-up. In the event that FedEx can only pick-up the following day, please schedule your pick-up nevertheless. You will NOT need a retest if the pick-up is the same or next day.

  1. Order your FlyClear test and receive your FlyClear test requisition
  2. Book an appointment at a LifeLabs location below.
    • Bring your printed FlyClear requisition and Passport

Pre-Departure testing now available from the comfort of your home with MyVisit (Currently Greater Toronto Area only)

  1. Order your FlyClear test and receive your FlyClear test requisition.
  2. Book your Home Visit appointment with the MyVisit portal or, if your flight is within the next five days, contact a MyVisit coordinator 1-416-993-9579 (Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm EST)

MyVisit Pre-departure testing offers:

  • COVID-19 PCR/NAAT swab testing
  • COVID-19 Antibody Blood (serology) testing

The MyVisit fee is $80 per person.
