**Change to Funding and Test Location” Effective March 07, 2022, LifeLabs will begin testing N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in house, at no cost to the patient. Testing for B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) will also continue to be offered but remains uninsured, requiring the patient to pay for the test. The test ordered on the requisition (BNP or NT-proBNP) will be the test performed.
