As Chief Operating Officer (COO), Jennifer oversees every aspect of our operations, assuring seamless and effective performance across the board.
While serving as COO, Jennifer previously also held the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer, wherein she oversaw Finance, Risk and Internal Audit, working closely with LifeLabs’ Board of Directors, audit committee, and executive team.
Prior, she was the Senior Vice President, British Columbia and President, Excelleris Technologies, where she held the responsibility of ensuring strong relationships with leaders in the B.C. healthcare sector, government, and business community in order to drive business development and growth within the province for LifeLabs. Before joining LifeLabs, she held the position of Chief Financial Officer of BC Biomedical, where she successfully led the sale of the company to LifeLabs in 2013.
Jennifer brings to LifeLabs her many years of health care expertise, and an extensive understanding of LifeLabs as a whole. Throughout her time at LifeLabs, she has developed expertise in many different areas of the business.
Jennifer is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and finance from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She has been twice recognized for her excellence in leadership with a Business in Vancouver BC 500 award, recognizing influential business leaders in British Columbia.
She has been recognized as a Top 25 Executive in Vancouver by C-Suite Spotlight (2023), and received a Distinguished Service Award (2022) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPABC) for her significant contributions as a volunteer. Jennifer uses her skillset to give back to her community and has served on a number of community boards including RainCity Housing and Support Society which provides programs and services to those living with mental health, addictions and other challenges and LifeSciences British Columbia.
