As Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Strategy and Innovation, Chris is responsible for leading the innovation and direct to consumer strategy to drive transformation and improved customer experience nationally for LifeLabs. Chris also leads key enabling corporate affairs functions including strategy, corporate communications, community engagement and strategic partnerships. In this role, he focuses on renewing and building relationships with government partners while enhancing LifeLabs’ external presence. Working closely with the CEO and other members of the executive team, Chris deepens relationships with LifeLabs’ partners across Canada, supporting LifeLabs’ mission of building a healthier Canada.
Before joining LifeLabs, Chris spent many years serving in the Ontario government in a variety of roles, including Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care. Most recently, Chris served as Associate Vice President at Trillium Health Partners where he oversaw a public affairs portfolio while helping lead health system transformation projects to drive the shift of care from hospitals to the community.
Chris earned an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario with a Health Sector specialization and completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree at Queen’s University in Political Studies.
